Taliesin is named for the druid prince and bard who became the lover of Atlantean princess Charis in Stephen R. Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle, which ties the legends of Altantis to that of King Arthur. It's one of my favorite reads! Taliesin in Middle Welsh means "shining brow."
