None would deny Sornieth was plundered in the early Ages by the contemptuous gods, but some magic was sewn from love and not war. In the tired years before the release of the Shade, the mother Gladekeeper soothed the magic-worn scales of the Lightweaver, and such was Elodie born among the acres of blossoms that bloomed in the Gardens. Existence suited her, and yet filled her with the gnawing desire to explore: such was she the patron of pollination and migratory creatures, who ride her eddies across the continent. Very little catches her attention for more than a glimpse. To an immortal, there is small satisfaction to be found even in the largest of wonders. However she often circles the enigmatic Fate-Seer, whose principles she sees it as her challenge to resist... though these centuries of teasing have broken ground for shelves of gifts she brings back from her adventures, torches always lit and waiting, and the first place she may call home, perish the word.
