Qumoa, also called Kari, is a seasoned time traveler, though this wasn't always the case. She carries with her an hourglass, a gift from Poppy, that amplifies her powers. Others describe her as bubbly, sweet, and a joy to be around. Ask her about her sand collection! She collects a small jar of sand from every time period from her travels and will tell you everything. Literally everything.

When she was younger, Qumoa wore a simple white spring dress, adorned with vines and leaves. As she grew older, she donned Poppy's old traveler's outfit, with some modifications. Peculiarly, a streak of her hair has begun turning black. Qumoa isn't sure why it is doing that, but she keeps her hair stylish by always adding a flower.

Poppy was Qumoa's mentor and teacher in time magic. Qumoa learned everything from her. Qumoa's hourglass was a special parting gift from Poppy.

Qumoa may have the slightest crush on Kouver... but she will never tell him! She frequently leaves him flowers and unsigned notes.

Qumoa keeps telling Anihil that she will join the Riftwalkers one day. Some day... she just has too much fun on her time travels to think about crossing the rift.

Qumoa has avoided traveling to her own past, afraid of what she may discover.

Even so, her story starts with a peace meeting between dragons and Beastclans. Qumoa's parents were members of a dragon clan who were meeting with Beastclan leaders to arrange a peace treaty. However, some members of the dragon clan had planned to join forces with the Beastclans and betray their fellow dragons. Qumoa's parents were unaware that conflict was about to occur, and her mother was pregnant at the time. As her parents were fleeing the battle, Qumoa's mother took refuge in a small cave, where she laid a single egg. Unfortunately, they were followed. Her parents hid the egg near some bushes, and led the pursuers away, never to return.

Poppy later discovered this egg. Upon hatching, Poppy cared for Qumoa as her own. Poppy made Qumoa aware that she was not her birth mother, however, she loved her all the same. During her childhood, Qumoa showed an interest in time traveling. It wasn't until her 10th birthday that Qumoa was allowed to join time travels.

Upon her 16th birthday, Qumoa was given Poppy's very own hourglass. Poppy was choosing to settle down with her lover in Clan Bujnik, and it was time for Qumoa to go on her own travels. Since then, Qumoa has traveled to many different time periods, both in the past and the future. With the recent events surrounding the dark portal in the Clanhome, she's hoping to unveil more information around it. However, it has been difficult for her to travel to other time periods with significant ties to the portal. There is some powerful magic preventing her from doing so.
