Most dragons would have avoided a dragon born with such dark colors and rather spooky appearance, out of fear and superstition. In her family, her darkness was a blessing. Coming from a long line of warriors, Malison was intended from hatching to be trained in the art of battle.

She was sent to train at the school, to represent her family. She focused hard, learned well, and hoped that all of her dedication proved that she would live up to her heritage. She studied with Spartacus and the twins, and soon she was strong enough to hold her own in the coliseum. Now she serves as protector and guardian for the school, upholding the honor of thirteen generations of Night Warriors, passing on their teachings to her hatchlings with the help of her insightful mate, Galileo.
