BIOGRAPHY

Main Theme: Flanders Fields

______ This dragon has been chosen as a remembrance dragon for veterans everywhere. He has been named Flanders after the cemetery where veterans of WWI are buried. His colors were selected with obsidian to represent the war and all of the deaths that happened because of it and ruby to represent the many red poppies that grow between the crosses of Flanders Fields. He specifically was chosen because he matches these colors and is a descendant of the Night Warrior bloodline. His hatchday is 12 November 2018 which is when Veteran's Day was recognized this year.

______ The significance of his Night Warrior heritage is that each of these dragons are bred and trained to be warriors. While training a dragon to fight opponents in a coliseum is no where near close to the sacrifices made by servicemen and women everywhere, this is the equivalent within FR to becoming a veteran or a soldier. My hope is that this dragon will be seen by others and that at least a few people who see him will read this and take a moment out of their day to remember those who have fought for us and those who are currently fighting.
