Xanthias is a rarity amongst snappers; a snapper with wings almost long enough to permit flight. The shadow dragon is the master of the treasury, although he often forgets his duties and is found telling tall tales to the clan's hatchlings. His first love, Lotara, went on a trip and never returned. While Auda has taken her place in his home, it is obvious that she cannot replace Lotara in his heart.
