She had always been a shy, unassuming soul, so everyone, including her mate Luz were shocked when Naieda disappeared suddenly, leaving behind only questions, and a letter telling him she had gone to serve the Windsinger. Imagine their surprise, when in the midst of their mourning her loss, she came winging her way back into the Kala with the Arcanist's mark radiating power upon her brow, and an entourage of arcane creatures close behind. She came garbed in white, her mien changed, knowledge and surety sparking in her gaze and strengthening her stride. Her daughter Tiri was the first to greet her, and the two have been inseparable since, Tiri drawn by the energy of her mother's element, and Naieda taking her daughter into confidences she has bestowed not even upon her mate. Luz, overjoyed to have his mate returned to him, is yet unnerved at the changes in her, and continues to wonder what happened to her while she was gone.
