B I O G R A P H Y
When there is a magic cave full of dangerous and deranged dragons, you need guards to keep them inside. Dragons to warn strangers and keep them outside. And a medium to take care of the souls locked inside. It isn't hard to guess which of these professions takes the biggest toll on the dragon's psyche, and so most of the clan's other dragons don't complain when it comes to Petal's character. It doesn't mean that they enjoy her presence, however, and so she mostly interacts with the other sage Victoria and the cave's inhabitants. Petal is a rather optimistic dragon, who enjoys her life and profession as the clan's medium who is in charge of the creatures inside the Luminous Cave. She keeps the evil spirits, demons, dragons and even the cave's magical powers at bay, though the latter only because the cave lets her for symbiotic purposes. She takes care of the cave's bioluminescent flora and forwards Victoria any important information transmitted to her by the spirits or cave itself, so that the news can be taken to the clan's matriarch Zeehra - the only other dragon in the clan who can support spending more than just five minutes in the medium's presence.

B I O G R A P H Y
The Coatl has an odd and macabre sense of humour that makes many uncomfortable and drives them away. She doesn't really mind though, enjoying herself too much to be considerate of others. Being an impressive healer and powerful sorceress with questionable methods, Petal has earned the respect of most of dragons who know her though, and in case of need, she is consulted despite her weird character. Petal was the first of the clan - after Zeehra - to have moved into the Luminous Cave and has learned all about its magical flora and fauna ever since, so that even the clan's scientists come to see her when they are at a loss. More often than not she then proves to be helpful... at least when she isn't having one of her playful days where she gets a kick out of fooling other, innocent clan members.

B I O G R A P H Y
Why she has turned into what she is today is something that leaves many dragons guessing. She was born to a set of perfectly ordinary parents, who loved and cared for her, and did whatever they could to provide her with a good life. Whoever knows them, would be shocked to see what the happy, little Coatl has turned into. Some blame it on her medium activities that make her interact with vicious souls and spirits, that could have affected her. Others say that she had ways been odd but that it had gotten worse after she had begun working and living inside the Luminous Cave. A few claim that she has always been like this, and that people simply were too blind to notice. No one quite knows which one is true - not even Petal herself anymore - but all agree that she seems to become even stranger as the years go by.
