"It is over..."

Loatheb's origins are nearly as mysterious as Tamati's. Some time after Tamati arrived at the Cathedral, so did she, not speaking much either even as a hatchling. She took had a love for the sea, and quickly took to Tamati after her arrival. He seemed fond of her then, and now they are inseparable.

 Loatheb arrived at the Cathedral a battered, weak thing from the west. She was immediately drawn inside and nursed back to health, and though she was asked by several of her caretakers, she had no recollection of where she was from... or was unwilling to speak of it. As she recovered, she saw Tamati out the huge stained-glass windows, and watched him from afar; he walked to the shoreline, sat, and stayed there for a long time. She continued to watch him from afar for quite some time.

Eventually, she gathered her courage and joined him. She asked if it was alright for him to sit with him, and when he didn't reply, she turned to leave; it was then he said it was alright. She sat beside him, and ever since, she has joined him in looking out to the waters.

When an alchemical mishap turned Tamati into a Gaoler, she demanded the same be done to her; after her painful transformation, she joined his side once again, and their tails curled together.
