MEANS OF COMMUNICATION:
Traditional wolf way (i.e. Barks/Growls/ Body Language etc.) though slightly Alien sounding and rougher/ metallic. Hayley’s been able to pick up on it mostly. Sometimes she forgets what a dog sounds like so she makes car noises instead .-.

WEAPONRY:
Tail acts like a club with a lock-up functionality. Reinforced claws and teeth. Semi-retractable 360 degree swivel chain gun (double-barrelled, on back). Mid to Close-range plasma blaster in mouth. Latent electrical discharge abilites.

DEFENCE MECHANISM:
Cybertronian Shockwolves are capable of discharging large amounts of electricity. This energy stems from their internal structure. When the odds seem dire, Skydust can release this energy outwards in a large blast. Thus, the threat is “electrocuted” to the point of severe injury or fatality (overstimulation of spark components and mechanical mechanisms), and possibly causing several other things harm in the immediate shock radius (about a km). However, once the charge reaches an equilibrium in the atmosphere, Sky can no longer generate more charged particles. As a result, this is a one-time attack is used as a last resort, and MUST be recharged if it is to be used again. Considering the projection of energy is outwards rather than contained to her person, she is unharmed by the effects. Being as young as she is, she is not as in control of her latent abilities as she would be as an adult, leading to minor power shortages if she gets too excited.

PERSONALITY:
As a gigantic metal canine Skydust acts a great deal like a normal dog. She is very intuitive and has a strong bond with Hayley, often not leaving her side (as a robot or in her holoform). Sky is also stubborn, insistent and uneasy around strangers. She act anxious if Hayley isn’t around for long periods of time.
However, Sky’s tendencies towards acting like a pseudo-puppy are very problematic in their well-intentioned destructiveness. She enjoys eating the metal bits out of tyres, chasing her tail and chewing electrical equipment (in and out of holoform). She also gets very excitable during games of fetch which causes a lot of disruption to her surroundings. Sky doesn't understand the concept of windows and has smashed a fair few in the past by sticking her head, or a front paw, through them. Hayley has to explain a lot of 'Sky's' antics away as ‘common household accidents’. Hayley has Sky fairly well trained despite a few hiccups. Sky is also fond of visiting Hayley in her robot form at the worst times possible. One point in her favour though is that she makes for a VERY convincing husky. Loud wailing, love for long runs and over-dramatic tantrums are just a few of her specialities.

MINI BACKSTORY:
Skydust’s species were parts of Cybertronian wildlife rarely seen in the wider scheme of things. Some were domesticated and acted as guards, others roamed out in the wild. Skydust was one such guard dog in training. She’d been separated from her pack family in the chaos that was the destruction of Cybertron. Shortly after having her external weaponry fitted, Sky had managed to escape her handlers and stow away in an old escape pod. The force of the planet’s destruction (as well as clumsy paws flailing on the controls) propelled her pod into space and it eventually crash landed on Earth. The pod hit the ground somewhere near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965, and was noticed by many in the small town. However, Sky managed to escape before anyone, military or otherwise, came across the pod. She ran quite a ways and took refuge in the junkyard near Hayley’s house in Pittsburgh. She has survived there ever since by eating metal parts and copper wiring.
