It is the hopeful, buoyant, cheerful attitude of mind that wins. Optimism is a success builder. The energy you give off is the energy you receive.

______ Raido was the polar opposite of his clan leader, who happened to be his best friend. He never really knew his parents, and was never close to them, as he left them when he was too young to remember. He arrived at Amoriel's clan before she was even hatched, barely days before. Aubin took care of him as he prepared for his own hatchlings to come alive. It was Aubin who named him - Raido, for the journey that he already had taken to venture from the neighboring ends of the Ashfall Waste, and the dance of life that he brought to the empty clan. He immediately became a favorite to the few dragons that lived there.

______ Raido's entire life changed when Amoriel was born. He was close to her, Citrine, and Kubal alike, but there was something so different about Amoriel. When she was young, she never listened to her mother when her mother warned her to not jump into battle and argument so easily. Unlike her siblings, she took after her father. Raido didn't have a father himself, more as Scorpius and Aubin looking over him. But he admired the way she worked, and her fieriness that she held within her. There was a spark that was unique to the Ashfall Waste that didn't rest within her brother and sister, and Raido could sense it so easily.

______ Things changed haistily with Amoriel and her family. Raido's clan broke into war with other Flights, and it was Amoriel's mother who was the first to jump into battle, at the front lines. But her bravery and courage for her clan costed her life, and Amoriel fell apart. She may not have shown it, but she did. Her brother and sister switched clans in a state of panic, and Aubin fell into a state of loss and depression. In barely a time's notice, it was up to Raido to take care of Amoriel emotionally, and stay by her side, no matter what happened.

______ Feelings started to blossom within him for his close friend. They were inseparable; Raido was always there for her, no matter what happened. And she knew well. Only around Raido would Amoriel break a smile, or laugh along to his jokes. He put all his strength and time into bringing her up and making her feel comfortable in her clan - mostly, for the fear that she would leave him one day, like her brother and sister. But the opposite happened, instead. Amoriel started to grow a hatred for those that murdered her mother, and she became just like her. Jumping into battles, at the front lines. Raido decided to stay at her side to protect her, as his emotions and love grew and grew.
She never noticed.
