"C'mon, you maggot riddled excuses for dragons! I'll throw you into the Wyrmwound if you go any slower!" |
Thundercry was a born survivor. Hatched in the middle of the Abiding Boneyard, he was faced with hardships his whole life. While he struggled forward, the rest of his family did not. Left alone in the world, he wandered, never staying anywhere for long. As he grew to adulthood, he met a mirror pack, which gladly accepted him into their ranks. For the next few years he stayed with them, but eventually he grew restless. Heeding them farewell, he traveled deeper into the Abiding Boneyard. He stumbled across an oasis, and deemed it a good place to live. A few months in, a weary traveler, nearly half dead and dehydrated, fell into his abode. It appeared to be a very young nocturne, less than 5 years of age. The nocturne revealed himself to be Frostbane, then promptly passed out. Thundercry nursed him back to full health, and gradually the two became friends. Frostbane decided to stay with Thundercry, and slowly the settlement by the oasis began to grow. As the ragtag settlement expanded, more and more dragons filtered in. Thundercry stood as the first line of defense against any and all threats, and the dragons of the town grew to love him. They deemed him an unofficial leader. |
