Eros
The Burnt
━━━━━━
When Eros was only a dragonet, he was caught in a fire. The blaze was created by magic, it burned brighter than any fire that existed to dragons. He should have been resistant, and he wasn't.

He loved to play in the tress near his home with his siblings. On this day, he fought with his parent, and flew away to the solitude of the tallest tree in the forest.

The fire moved fast, burning everything in it's path and leaving a massive smoking trail behind it. When the fire raged past, he couldn't get down in time.

The bottom half of him tree burned, and the top half collapsed. He fell into the blaze, and was knocked out when he hit the ground. When he woke up, all he could feel was pain.

Intense burning pain. He was blinded by it. When they found him, his body was badly burnt. All that was left of him was a pitiful, smoking ball, curled up in the middle of a charred wasteland.

The most horrifying part, was that his eyes had melted. The turned into a thick, sticky liquid, and no matter how the healers tried, his eyes kept burning.

When he woke he screamed so loud, it seemed the whole continent had heard him. The healers gave him herbs for the pain, but it was enough.

In the end they turned to the druids, who cast a spell on him. He could no longer feel the pain in his eyes, but he could no longer feel at all.

Eros feels nothing. He doesn't feel pain. He doesn't feel emotion. His soul is empty.
