Golden Knight

Native to the cold realm of the IceWarden, the easygoing Cameo was at once sent to a new clan in a neighboring clan to be trained as one of the new guards.

The then budding clan had just started gathering a small amount of treasure, and a concerned matriarch ordered at once that a pair of guards be trained to keep it safe. They would day and night be stationed at the vault’s doors, guarding the clan’s treasure and precious artifacts from those that dared to infiltrate the safety of the clan’s lair.

Easily bored with his new station, it was a relief to find company in his fellow guard and mate, Jewel. Young and eager to meet a skydancer from a different flight, the two soon bonded and formed an easy friendship that took up the hours of endless watch at the vault’s doors.

Charmed by her sunny disposition and dazzled by her looks, Cameo couldn’t conceal his wonder the first time he saw her dancing alone in the vault, twirling among the gems that could not match her radiance.
Her biggest fan, he swore to keep her secret, and longs for the quiet hours when he can watch her practice.
