APPEARANCE & PERSONALITY

Erebus is a sweet, naive dragon who is charming without meaning to. He likes flowers and all things shiny, and he has his own hoard of silk hiding in his closet. He loves to be given attention and affection, and he can't seem to have enough of it! You will never find him straying from being cheerful, and he gets along with everyone in the clan. He loves to help people out, and spends his time dragging his relunctant mate around the infirmary to help the injured or sick.

HISTORY

Erebus had seemingly descended from the stars to the clan. He had been scouting the air for his previous clan, but one of the clan's archers hit him in the wing. He was hauled to the infirmary by Nyx, who was the last dragon he saw before he had blacked out. Once he was healed back by the medics and given an apology, he was given permission to leave. However, when he was about to leave, he spotted the pretty black dragon and felt that he had to compensate her for saving his life. He requested that he stay in the clan for the moment, then asked Nyx how he could pay her back. She had told him he could always join her on her patrols and heal her. Eventually, he fell for her and confessed his feelings, overjoyed when she agreed. It was she who keeps him with the clan today, and he continues to join on her patrols to heal her.

CLAN ROLE

Erebus is an unofficial medic and nurse in the infirmary, coming in every once in a while to assist the medics. He's invited to patrols a lot to help heal the fighters and adventurers, which he gladly accepts, especially if it's Nyx who's asking. He always had a natural ability to heal dragons, and he loves to help others.

NAME ORIGINS

Though he doesn't live up to it, Erebus is named after the Greek god of darkness, as well as the goddess Nyx's husband. He chose the name himself to match with Nyx's (much to her annoyance) when they became mates.

FAMILIAR

One day, Nyx had returned from her hunt of dragons with a package wrapped in silk. "Ooh, did you bring me another silk?" Erebus squealed excitedly, but the dragon shook her head. "No, silly," she said gruffly, though he took that as a sign of affection and hugged her. She ignored him and snapped the package open to reveal the creature within. He gasped. It was so beautiful, tears sprang into his eyes. The little winged creature flopped into the ground, staring at him quizzically. He hugged Nyx even tighter until she had to wriggle her way out of his claws.

He takes good care of his Slight Eyewing, naming her Skyfall for her gorgeous tail. Skyfall likes Erebus and constantly demands his attention, crying and wailing for him. Nyx says he spoils her too much, and she's quite right too. He treats her like a pet, feeding her the best nuts and fruits and keeping her warm and safe in his den. She mostly likes to fly around the camp and shriek earsplitting shrieks, which causes a lot of commotion and argument toward Erebus.
