Biography
Ignis is a slithery Shadow guardian prone to taking out her frustration on the Light clan with tricks and pranks. Like the rest of the Shadow dragons, her body is overly slim, almost sickly looking though she is in excellent health. She is far more flexible than most Guardians and takes pride in showing it off by twisting around trees or slinking around. In contrast to the Light dragons of the clan, she is capable of making breathtakingly quick turns while running. Her cunning mind allows her to lose pursuers in a maze of wrong turns and confusing backtracking. Unfortunately, she is a horrendous swimmer.
Having spent time in an Earth clan in search of her charge, she was shocked when an accidental foray into Light territory solved her dilemma. She had been searching for some tablets to take for the clan scholar, though pranking Light dragons by stealing their research had not been far from her mind. Something summoned her from below the ruins she was hunting in. Much to her chagrin, the object turned out to be an ancient scroll of considerable power buried beneath a crumbling column. Confused and frustrated, she left her Earth clan and chose to join the nearby Clan of the Sunweave Tangle in order to better understand the object that had chosen her as its protector.
As a Shadow dragon, the urge to destroy the scroll so it can't be misused is incredibly strong. Only the call of the scroll is stronger, though her alternating impulses frequently leave her frustrated and angry. Known for both her towering tempers and cruel pranks, most of the clan avoids her (especially when transporting sensitive research).
She was offered her the robe she wears (complete with a large pocket) in an attempt tokeep her from destroying their research help her with her charge. Thankfully for the Light dragons, she has grown more used to the idea of preserving knowledge, though she still takes pleasure in antagonizing the more avid scholars.
