Rhodochros______________
_____ Despite being a Plague dragon, Rhodochros is dedicated to the healing, rather than the harming, of others. He finds himself fascinated with living things - although he has an unfortunate habit of accidentally hurting the smaller ones, thanks to his size. He is gentle and kind, but will not hesitate to defend those he loves from those showing ill intent, an innocent-until-proven-guilty type of dragon.

Two of the dragons he’s taken in and healed are Akeldama and Cookie. Akeldama was a hatchling originally left on an altar for the Shadowbinder to take, until she saw Rhodochros flying above her, and rolled off the altar to get his attention. It had worked, and he’d taken her in, healing her wing and then letting her become an apprentice of his - it was almost natural for her to do so, given the way Nocturnes copy personalities.

Cookie, on the other hand, was rotting away from the disease of Plague territory, not strong enough to fight the parasite slowly taking over his body. Rhodochros found him on the edge of Plague territory, and flew him all the way to his home in Arcane, where he had more supplies and Akeldama to help him. It took plenty of magic, and the scars of rot would not fade, but Cookie was eventually healed, and now he stays with Rhodochros and Akeldama. Akeldama had named the young Spiral, after all, and it wasn’t long until they formed an inseparable bond. They both have started calling Rhodochros ‘Dad’. He isn’t entirely sure how to feel about this.
