Dependable, introspective, and incurably stricken with wanderlust. First line in the Kingdom's defence, and a ranking officer along with his mate. Has something of an eidetic memory—he knows where the borders of clan lands are better than the mapmakers. Likes kids; treats even the rulers of the clan with a respectful but avuncular affection. Surprisingly cuddly, for how much time he spends alone.
