A harsh and audible hiss slips through her teeth.

Ananke was once the most powerful dictator of all fate and circumstance, which meant that mortals, as well as the Gods, respected her and paid homage. She often would observe certain dragons that sparked her interest. Against better judgement, she fell in love with Chronos, a mere mortal and wandering mage.

Another fate weaver, looking to gain power, trapped Chronos and gave Ananke an ultimatum - Give up her powers and live among the mortals, forever knowing what she had lost, or watch Chronos die.
