Dragon Log

Once called Essence, she came from a lair that was falling apart due to lack of interest on the part of her mage-friend. Fleeing to another lair--and another flight--she chose to take a new name more in keeping with her new home. She has never forgotten her origins however, and wishes her mage-friend well in their new endeavors. It was not, after all, their fault that the dragons in the lair could not hold their interest...and they DID make a tremendous effort to find homes for all of them.

A new home means new interests, and Titania has fully embraced the plans and views of this clan. Currently, she is studying various myths and legends of "other places" held by the strange beings that once lived in this land. The tale of "fairies" interests her the most...hence her name. After all, how could she not consider herself a Queen?

9-3-14: Her Red-Winged Owlcat friend has Awakened! Titania is thrilled to have aided a creature so like a fairy legend to realize his full potential. For now, they will stay together, but in time she may well find a new companion to help on that journey....

9-11-14: While perusing the hoard, Titania stumbled on a Velvet Floracat playing with some Maple Leaves. She took one look, and fell in love with the playful, yet noble animal. And the magic that enables this cat to exist causes him to fit right in with fairy myths...

12-4-14: After a long, joyful 3 months, Titania's cat friend has Awakened! Perhaps now he will think of a name for himself.... or perhaps he will simply have too much fun playing in the leaves....

12-18-14: The cat went out hunting.... and brought home an interesting prize. Titania promptly rescued him from the Floracat's mouth, scolding her old friend all the while. The Mottled Buttersnake was extremely grateful.....

2-27-15: As Shadow’s month comes to an end, Titania has headed to the Trickmurk Circus to watch the Parade, and remember days gone by... ( , )

Titania is very pleased with the Necklace gift from her Birth Flight, and is sure that someone in the Clan will love to wear it...

3-19-15: A few months of fun, games, and hiding from Floracats have now reached their next level: The Mottled Buttersnake has Awakened! Perhaps now he can keep himself out of harm's way without help....

...And while the Buttersnake is exploring his new potential, a patiently waiting Elk has finally been rewarded, and Titania has a new friend--and a new perch....

6-17-15: The Elk has Awakened at last! Titania is thrilled for her friend... and she thinks that perhaps she will keep her Court at 4--for the moment.

8-8-15: There is a new dragon in the Clan: A male Fae! Titania is intrigued by this new arrival, particularly by his instant name-change, as if he wanted to catch her attention. But she is not as thrilled at his wandering eye...

9-9-15: Despite Oberon's flirting--or perhaps because of it--Titania has decided to give the male Fae a chance. There are now 2 eggs sitting in the Hatching Grounds.... perhaps Oberon will be less likely to wander if he has hatchlings to look after?

9-14-15: Titania is now the proud mother of two children, a male and female. She is ecstatic at this new chance offered her. Oberon, however, does not seem that fatherly, and his eyes are already beginning to wander....

2-23-16: Returning from a successful Trickmurk, Titania is proudly wearing her spoils from the parade: A Pretty Purple Neck Bow that she snatched right out of the air.... ( , )

10-17-16: Titania's youngest hatchling has set off on her own at last. Welcomed with open arms into her new Arcane Clan with Krynne, she has already acquired her new name, Elysia, and is bonding with her old friend the Lightning Lancer.....

10-22-16: Only a few days after his sister left, Titania's son also headed out to an Arcane Clan. After a slight delay, he met up with his Guide and made his way to his new home with BlueAlphyn885. Now he is well settled in, with a new wardrobe and a lovely Arcane Goblin companion. Titania couldn't be prouder if she tried! Now if only she can convince Oberon to stop flirting and come home......

1-22-17: After the fun the Clan had last year at the Sornieth Winner Games, Titania was thrilled to hear they had been invited back for another year.... that is, until she found out that she would be participating in an Event! ( )

1-30-17: Despite Titania's best efforts, she did not win a medal this year. It might have had something to do with the fact that she somewhat confused Speed Skating with Figure Skating....Regardless, however, the older Fae has discovered, much to her surprise, that Skating is a lot of fun. Perhaps she will practice a bit and put in a better showing next year...

2-25-18: Titania had thought that she was done with collecting an entourage for now, but apparently this year’s special Shadow familiar had other ideas. The instant the Spirit of Shadow saw her, he flew to her side and initiated a bond. Titania is rather impressed with her new friend, and very pleased that Glimmer is fitting in so well...

5-30-18: Glimmer has Awakened! Titania is pleased that her friend has finally reached his full maturity, and eager to see how this affects him. So far, it does not appear to have caused any major changes in Glimmer's attitude, but only time will well...

3-27-19: Titania and Oberon were supposed to attend the Mistral Jamboree together this year, but Titania ended up arriving late. At first, it did not seem much of a problem, but for some reason Titania can’t seem to find her mate, and she is beginning to get worried about what Oberon might be doing with his time alone. ( ) If Oberon knows what is good for him, he won’t be flirting when Titania finds him, but when has that ever stopped him before? This…could be bad…

3-29-19: And it was. VERY Bad. In fact, Titania is so furious at her mate, she is not even noticing anything else going around her, dragon-wise, or magic-wise… ( )
Oh dear…it looks like the “Queen of the Fae” has lost her hold on far more than her temper….

3-30-19: Not even the arrival of a pretty Skydancer musician offering a plate of insects ( ) could quell Titania’s temper, but it seems, that Moondust, the Clan Father, has managed to end things rather quickly. ( ) Hopefully Moondust himself will calm down by the time everyone gets back to the caves, or Titania and Oberon both might be in for a rough time…

3-1-19: Moondust did, in fact calm down…and Titania even managed to get a nice souvenir on her way back from apologizing to the Skydancer. ( ) Even better, Oberon is behaving himself again, and harmony is once again reigning in the family—for now…

3-25-20: Oberon and Titania traveled to the Cloudsong Celebration together this year, and it did not take Oberon long at all to get up to his old tricks, much to Titania’s fury. He didn’t even wait 10 minutes after they arrived before he started to wander off! When she grabbed his wing, however, he claimed that she was wrong, and he had only been looking at certain male Guardian Wizard’s performance. ( , ) Despite Titania’s efforts to ignore this obvious ploy, the Wizard was intriguing…and somehow in the process of watching his techniques with Wind Magic, she lost sight of her mate…

3-29-20: The Mistral Jamboree is winding down, and most of the dragons of the Clan who went to the Festival are relaxing, enjoying a few last-minute shows. Most of these are being put on by the Wind dragons who live on the Cloudsong, but Titania and Oberon were actually quire entertaining themselves for several minutes, as Titania took her wandering mate to task for his obvious flirtations with a pretty young Fae dragon from WindSky Weyr. ( ) The entertainment ended rather abruptly, however, when Oberon swore, on his Warrior’s Honor, that nothing had happened. ( ) Titania knows that that is an oath he would not take in vain--yet she feels like she is missing something…Well, perhaps her own hints about that fascinating Wizard will keep Oberon faithful for a little while…

5-29-20: It’s time for the Greenskeeper Gathering, and this year Titania and Oberon are heading into the Labyrinth to have some fun. They have heard about a special chess game, where the winners get to keep the pieces… ( )

5-30-20: It turns out that the “Chess Game” was actually a show and tell quiz of sorts, where the winners got special chess pieces as prizes. The two Faes were not at all disappointed at this, however, as neither is really any good at Chess. But modeling as a Nature Rep Dragon for their Clan? That they can do… ( ) …And now they both have a beautiful Black Chess Piece for their Trophy Shelves! Too bad it’s the same one for both of them…

6-21-20: Titania got a bit of a shock today: The Clan has decided to try to induce an Elemental Egg hatching for each Festival, in the hopes of receiving 11 new hatchlings throughout the year. The first attempt was made with the brightest Light Egg in the hoard…and it hatched a dark male Fae! After years of waiting, Titania finally has her little Puck at long last. Who would have thought that all she had to do to get their “missing” son was hatch that lonely egg in the back of the hoard? Even better, Oberon is very interested in the little one as well, and does not seem inclined to stray at the moment…which is good, because Puck’s first act upon coming fully awake was to cast a very powerful magical summoning that makes it quite clear how much Titania will need her mate’s help to raise this mischievous trouble-maker…
