What I know...the Council (Leaders are Dom, Lor, Iceberg, and Ikazu...other members rotate duties) are the leaders and make all the major decisions, but refer and defer to the matriarch Bree on many issues...she is the only female allowed to sit in for entire meetings. Little do the Council members know, but many dragons listen through small ventilation holes in the walls of the meeting cave. The clan is pretty democratic...the Tundra usually discuss issues AT LENGTH (sometimes longer!) before making decisions. Their goal is fairness and consistency. They are challenged, however, when it comes to choosing paths for the hatchlings....Bree is almost exclusively the decision-maker there. There has been a recent push (led by Sofina) to include females on the council officially. Change is coming!

The male Guardians are the primary peacekeepers and Security force. Don't ask me why there are so many of them, since there isn't much to that task. In their free time, they also take care of the heavy lifting, and organize the sporting activities. Sometimes, they take the hatchlings on campouts.

The female Guardians are Caretakers of the lair, the offspring, Teachers, too.
The Spirals are mostly Engineers/Builders/Craftsdragon.
The Skydancers are primarily Scientists and Artists.

We have very little trouble. If someone does not fit in well with the lair, then that dragon is sent to the Lightweaver...not as a punishment, but in hopes of more suitable companions. But not without a farewell party, first!

Blue Ring Octopi (I hoard)

Deal! Luckily, I did laundry last night. Unfortunately, I've been up since about 5 am and may fall asleep before 50 mil. At least I'm not working this weekend. :)

Not sorry now, maybe in the morning. XD Thank you for letting me know, though inadvertently. I know I would have regretted *missing* the anticipation of trying this time since I didn't try for 40 mil. Had to edit since I'm getting tired. Oops. ;)
