Welcome to Rootwind. Here you will find what little comfort can be gleaned from the sparse desert. However, its inhabitants are welcoming and will share what they have with a weary traveler. They will warn you of the wraiths and beasts of Dragonhome, but they will not stray far beyond the well lit edges of their community.
The stone flakes away slowly, and then all at once, a lifetime of breath fills her lungs and a summer's day of warmth fills her breast. She feels first an indeterminate and vast love that wraps her very being and beckons her to step forward. Now she ventures forth with infant eyes, to see all the world has to offer, and to learn all its hushed secrets in turn.
