This is my clan. I expend energy to feed it and help it grow. I am a placenta.
A cooled magma plain plays host to a cautious but aspiring clan, their lair carved into the walls of a vertical sinkhole. A lake rests on the floor of the cave, and fast-growing tropical plants decorate its rim with vibrant green. Though ash clouds from the more active heart of the Waste sometimes roll overhead, the site hasn't seen a local eruption in centuries, and the relative peace has allowed large crystals to grow unimpeded in the mineral-rich lake.
