TwigTwig's Clan

You hear, what do you hear, singing? You freeze among the still trees of the Star Wood Strand. Normally they are so still and silent you can only imagine them as gravestones. But now, now, there is most definitely singing. You creep, following the sound of song. The trees become more and more dense, and you are sure that you are walking into another of the Gladeveins's traps. Until the trees suddenly drop off into nothingness and you find yourself looking down. A ravine, perhaps 30 feet across and twice deep, has been carved into the floor of the forest; and at the bottom, there is a swirling mass of trees and plants. They twin together, forming an undulating tower of phosphorescent plant life. Perched and flying around the spire, you see dragons and you hear their songs.

This is the Nightsong Sect. The Nightsong Sect rigulously practices a magic and life code revolving around chants and songs. They practice their healing through song, their shields, the growth of their lair, their praises to the Gladekeeper, their celebrations of life. Even their conversations have taken a musical quality. The Nightsong lair is an open clan, as long as you swear into their rather musical way of life. They have accepted refugees from two different clans, and adopt even more dragons off out of the weeds that need help. However, due to the magically imbued tree, a great mishap befell the clan. The tree took on a sentience of its own and began to grow, absorbing many of the dragons in the tree. Only a few have not been scared off and quick enough movers to escape the trees growth.
