Clan Selcouth lies on the fringes of the Shifting Expanse, on the border with the Ashfall Waste. In the ruins of a massive, old castle the clan makes its home, although no one knows when or by whom the castle was originally built. The castle itself is expansive enough for even the largest members of the clan to disappear inside it completely, with many walls and sections dilapidated and broken down with age.
Old banners and remnants of a pevious royal family still lay scattered and torn around the castle's walls, but the sigils and name of the family are lost to time.
Crows and magpies roost in the rafters of every room, or on the larger dragons themselves as they rest. These birds have been adopted rather than consumed, as their keen eyes and sheer number work as alarms and their protective nature over their roost work to the advantage of the clan as they flock and mob enemies.
