Langhar's departure left the clan afraid, enraged, and directionless. Their world seemed to shatter around them, and several dragons fled, disappeared, or sought refuge in the Shadowbinder's embrace. Were it not for the miraculous return of Aliskan and Romath, the clan's progenitors, the clan likely would have collapsed altogether.

Now, however, Aliskan and Romath are faced with the monumental task of putting their shattered clan back together. The fallout from Langhar's departure - and the theft of most of the clan's hoard - left the clan less than half the size it was at the height of its power.

There are only a few who remain - Edvin, Langhar's longtime rival, is the most prominent. Outcast siblings Titiana and Oberon are the only others who remember the clan's glory days and have proved to be Aliskan and Romath's only allies. But even they could not stay - unable to bear the tragedy of their clan's past, they traveled to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent to pledge themselves to the Shadowbinder's service.

After struggling with the Foxfire Bramble, the remnants of the clan scattered, leaving Aliskan alone with her mate and son and the ghost of Iceknife.
