Deep in the Foxfire Bramble, a cracked and warped noise can be heard buzzing through the air. A flash of light betrays the source: the gaping mouth of a cavern, wires and bulbs and charred bits of metal drip from the rim and twitch as though alive.
Winding halls of night-black stone veer left and right into labyrinthine halls. Each one hosts a different treasure, it seems, a cacophony of sound alluding to the tenants of this cave. A rumbling roar. A crystalline cackle. A pretty little purr. A haughty harumph. It appears there is no rhyme or reason to the blend of tenants; these beings came together by fate rather than favor, trust over taste.
The main hall comes to an abrupt end. A careless visitor (or tasty trespasser) might overlook the sudden and steep drop and fall to their certain death. This chamber is like a great temple, an underground river lending to the imagery a coating of ethereal vapor. A soft and pleasant humming can be heard, and the center of the sunken floor is awash with color and movement.
Eleven dragon maidens of varying breeds playfully flit about performing the hour's duties. Each bears a jeweled cuff on the arm and a buckled sash slung across the hips. Pinning the garments upon their wearers are finely wrought badges bearing symbols of the Flights.
This year, The Wandering Priestesses of Dragonkind have brought their works to serve the Shadowbinder.
