The drakes and drakas of the LightningStone Clan are quite a loyal group. If any grudges between two dragons are formed, they are quickly forgotten if either dragons or the den is attacked.
If a dragon wishes to be with another, the suitor is to present the other with a gift. It can be something that reminds one dragon of the other, or just something beautiful. If the other dragon accepts the gift, another gift is given in return.
Young hatchlings are not given a familiar until they reach the age they are considered an adult.
Wanting to hone her clan's diverse flight magic abilities, Essentia brought eleven Fae hatchlings into her clan. Each Fae is partnered with one of Essentia and Thaloyss' children (with the exception of Inpulsa) and a dragon that represents one of the elemental deities to act as both students and guardians to the much smaller dragons. Each month, she allows one Fae (along with their pupils/guardians and familiar) to travel to their flight's origin to better their skills. Upon returning to the den, they pass on as much as they can to the other dragons that share their element.
