Azura is the progenitor of this lair.She believes that all dragons deserve to be happy and have a home. The Tidelord granted her a spacious lair to take in all those that need a home.

Azura and the Most Beautiful Sunset
It is common knowledge that fae is highly active dragons, busy at home or engaged in some grand adventure - so it should be no surprise to find a youthful blue-green fae making her place in the world around the edges of the Tidelords domain. Her clan started small, wayward dragons gravitated towards her kindness and humor. She built a ranch any dragon would be proud of, all on a whim because, well, why not?

Why not? That was a recurring phrase in young Azura’s speeches - everything was worth doing at least once, try and if you fail, you had best have had fun while doing it. She accepted the challenges as they came but none as important as the day she found an abandoned barnacle encrusted egg.

Azura had been out gathering by herself one afternoon when she stumbled upon the egg. Although it was covered in seaweed and had a barrier of rocks to protect it from the waves, it was clear no dragon had been back for their precious cargo in over a week. Concerned for the safety of the hatchling inside Azura made a decision that ultimately altered her life forever.

Some of the other dragons within her clan expressed their hesitation at bringing home an egg of unknown origins, how would they feed yet another hatchling? But Azura paid them no heed - this egg... No, this hatchling would be raised with the same love and kindness she shared with every member of her clan. So she bundled up the egg, kept it warm and safe until one day it produced a small hairline fracture. Throughout the next two days, Azura waited, eager to meet the newest member of her clan, each day the cracks grew until finally out tumbled the smallest most vibrant fae hatchling Azura had witnessed.

Eventually, the hatchling would be called Sunset Dream - named after the brilliant sunsets the clan witnessed every day and the hope Azura had for her future. As time moved forward the clan accepted Sunset as Azura’s adopted daughter, integrating the youth into everyday functions of the ranch. Soon enough Azura was able to hand off the reigns of the ranch to her daughter, now capable of maintaining the livestock and managing on her own.

Now that she has all this free time, what’s an active fae to do? Well, have fun of course - now who gets the first mud pie to the face?
