Lair
For the first decades of the clan's existence, they thrived in the branches of an old, long dead tree of the Scarred Wastelands. Recently, however, an arguably accidental fire rendered their home to ash, leaving the dragons to scrape up what remained of their valuables and move on. They've now found themselves settled in the cracks of a slowly melting glacier, on edge and eager to get back into the normal flow of life.

Timeline
The clan splits up their history into multiple time periods, referring to each as its own 'era' or 'age'.

The first era began when the dragon Bahraeh left his home on the Sea of a Thousand Currents to seek a new life in the Scarred Wastelands, where he stumbled across what appeared to be the makeshift home of a lone guardian hatchling. It was a magnificently large tree, rival to the largest trees of the Viridian Labyrinth in all ways except greenery. Though the tree had been very obviously long dead, it still seemed to stand sturdy enough to settle in, and so Bahraeh did. It wasn’t long before a great many other dragons would decide to settle there themselves, birthing the clan of Evig Sol. The first era was the height of the clans influence, cooperating with multiple smaller lairs across the Wastelands. Unfortunately, this era was brought to a startling end when Bahraeh seemingly disappeared in the night, telling no one where he was going or why.

After Bahraeh’s leave, the clan and all its subsets across the territory fractured. The dragons of the tree bickered and fought amongst each other while panic would spread throughout the lairs. After some push back, it was the dragon Krad that would step up in an attempt to fill Bahraeh’s shoes and keep the Evig Sol running smoothly. This would work only for a short while, the clan held together only at its seams, before dragons who had lived amongst the ranks of the Evig Sol their entire lives would begin splitting off to explore Sornieth, seek a better life, search for something dear, or any other personal excuse to leave. At this point, the previous second era tensions were all but dissipated, leaving a sort of ‘calm after the storm’ feeling. The majority of the culture and history that the clan had built up throughout the first era was lost, clinging on only through frayed memories of the nostalgic Archaic, who would spend the last years of the second era lazing about the tree, passing stories, and hoping this wasn’t the true end.

The second era gave way to the third when Bahraeh finally returned, circumstances just as mysterious as those he left under. He explained himself to no one, and not all were so eager as to welcome the leader back with open arms. Krad, of course, would gladly step aside and allow Bahraeh to lead, once more taking his spot as right-hand man. With him, it seemed, Bahraeh brought back all the luck of the first era; It wasn’t long before newcomers would begin joining the clan’s ranks again. Though the tree would never again reach such a level of prosperity to match the first era, things were certainly brighter. The third era was, overall, a modest one- A fresh start for the Evig Sol, with only the only remaining tension being between Bahraeh and the newcomer and self-identified prophet Soke, and either group of dragons who believed in either one’s power more. This second greatest age was, eventually, brought to an even more striking halt than the first: The great tree they were all settled in going up in flames. Some skeptics of Soke, who had been warning of something horrible to come, believe the blame lies with him. Regardless of where the fault lay, the dragons of the Evig Sol would gather what little remained of their valuables and begin the search for a new home.

The clan would wander the Wastelands for roughly a year, taking up a more nomadic lifestyle as the worn-down dragons debated amongst themselves where they should settle. Bahraeh was ever-hesitant to leave the plague flight’s territory, but would eventually give in to the suggestions of Soke’s disciple, Frelser, of moving south into the Southern Icefield. When they arrived, rather than the astounding new home Frelser was sure they’d discover, they found an ancient isolated goaler holed up in a small cave. Under her eager guidance, they would locate and settle into the remains of a glacier on the edge of the territory, carving out a new home for themselves and praying for a stable future in the ice- With this, the Evig Sol finds itself in the fourth era. The weariness the clan all shared when they began settling in has begun to fade, and the energy around the glacier seems to have finally eased into a soft calmness.
