Most have heard stories of the Clan of The Eldritch Tone. In fact, many know people who have ventured into the Clan and have left with a song in their heart. You will know them by their song.

The first thing anyone would notice about the clan is the distant, ringing echo that can be heard for a mile in every direction.
As you walk through the clan, you might remark about how happy all of it's inhabitants are, and they are indeed happy. But the tune that they all whistle, or hum, or sing is in perfect sync with each other, and underscored with the relentless singing of that distant tone.

If you choose to spend the night here, and if you are one of the lucky few, the tone may stir you in your sleep.
You may find yourself standing on the beaches of the clan, staring into the sea where it seems that the mighty ringing gets louder.
You may choose to step into the water, finding the sudden depth of the ocean to be overshadowed by the flits of brilliant bio-luminescent creatures, diving in and out of the expansive coral.
You may not even notice that you seem to be breathing the salty water as you walk along the seabed, transfixed by the flashes of light and movement as the tone seems to shudder across the sea life around you.
You may find yourself in the vast emptiness of the underwater planes, with shoals of huge fish, and lonely, gargantuan creatures breaking the empty span ahead of you.
You may even follow the deafening reverberation to an immense crack in the seabed, the screaming of your every instinct to flee far from here falling on deaf ears.
You may stand before the underwater plinth, the roar of an Eldritch Tone filling every fiber of your being, and wiping you clean with an auditory catharsis.

You may awake, on a beach not too far from the clan, with no memory of your midnight trip, but a familiar song stuck in your head.
