Hello my name is Christopher, he/him.
If a dragon is in the Newcomer tab, just pop a crossroads request at whatever price you want.
My favourite dragons are fae!
Floating in the air above the Focal Point is a large island, barren of all but a top of grass, a belly of rock, and surprisingly, a waterfall that trails down to the land below, making a small river that leads to the sea.
Flying around, you find many openings, most so small that none but the smallest Fae could squeeze through. By happenstance, you catch the tail of a dragon disappearing into one of the larger holes, and you follow them in. Alighting on the floor, you can feel and see that it is smooth stone instead of rough rock or dirt.
Your claws click as you make your way further in. Minutes pass, and just as you begin to wonder if you'd end up on the other side, the hall opens into a room.
Calling it a room would be demeaning it, it is much more akin to a cavern. You crane your neck out of the hallway, and you are greeted with such an interesting sight. The walls are covered with shelves upon shelves of books and scrolls. Even the stalactites that hang from the ceiling, and the stalagmites that rise up from the floor are covered in them.
Floating gently in the air through the cavern are more rocks. Many just hold more books and the odd scroll (or even mushrooms), but the largest has more. A royal Fey sits on an open tome, half-moon spectacles barely resting on his short snout, and a motley quill floats in the air beside him.
You lift off from the ground to fly towards him, landing on a spare space beside his massive desk. He doesn't look at you, deep pink eyes fixed to the page before him. Opening your mouth to speak, you're immediately cut off by a deep rumble.
It isn't the Fey talking, why would he waste words on you, but it is the rock itself groaning as it glides purposefully through the air. Stopping by another tunnel leading out of the cavern, maybe you should start calling it a library, you hop off of it.
A small pink light zips in front of your eyes, leaving a hued trail of magical dust, a faery. It gestures for you to follow, other hand grasped about a scroll that dwarfs it, and it leads you through the tunnels.
Eventually, you feel the caress of fresh air, and you take a deep breath, hardly aware that you missed it as you stop at the end of the hall. Tittering, the faery holds out the scroll it had been holding for you to take, and it flies higher, faster, once you take it.
'Athenaeum'
That is the only word on the scroll that you see as you unravel it. Questions pass through your head as you lift off. Was that the Fey's name? The name of this place? Or just the library? You resolve to get your answer eventually, but you leave it for now, making a promise to come back.

Hello! I have one of Eltam and Moisin's sons, I was wondering if you would be interested in receiving a hatchling letter from him!
