CLAN AERYN
A warhorn cuts through the quiet night to send a chilling warning to all who recognize the sound. Only the winds dare make a move. A storm of tooth and claw approaches.

Shrieks of laughter can be heard above the rhythmic banging of drums and jovial tunes of wind and string instruments. A mess of song accompanies, each dragon seemingly trying to sing their own joy and be heard above the near deafening march of foot and beating of wing. The flight is loud and forceful like a violent and boisterous hurricane, and within the eye flies a mirror covered in blood and scars, a harpy's skull clutched between her claws. This warband's most recent battle was a roaring success.

Once a small band of thieves and outlaws active along the Reedcleft Ascent, Clan Aeryn has grown and transformed into a roaming warband, insatiably hungry for battle, gold, and glory. When they have stripped a territory of wealth and resources, the clan tears down their makeshift camp and moves forth to pillage another part of Sornieth, song and dance accompanying them to celebrate another victorious war.

Though the core, permanent members of the clan are few, it's numbers are bolstered by the ever-changing waves of hatchlings taken in and trained to be sent off to the Windsinger as frequent offerings. Dragons who manage to carve out a precarious place for themselves within the ruthless echelons of the clan do so by surviving battle after battle or ensuring that their clanmates do. Of them all, the most protected and valued, aside from the founders Viserya and Rafael themselves, are members of the council, the most competent at their duties and most irreplaceable.

Clan Aeryn regularly builds alliances and truces (and rivalries!) with many different dragon clans and even some beastclans. Their reach extends far beyond the Windswept Plateau, to all of Sornieth. (If you wanna make an alliance or have an interaction or RP, let me know! I'm usually super down.)
