This is an exalting lair, I train them up first so they're given random names or I try to check previous lairs to follow established naming conventions if needed.

I do that too. I'll be looking for pures and then I'll be like "Oh damn those are pretty colours" like what I did with metis and sai ugh. spent so much on them both and they're gonna have some really attractive babies or ugly ones and I'll cry.
