Nestled comfortably in the shadow of a great cliff where the Crystalpine Reaches meet the Starwood Strand, a small camp lays. It is mostly concealed from the gaze of any enemies that may come, but is still cozy and welcoming for any wanderers or travellers that may be lost in the Starwood Strand.
Caves large enough for two or three dragons dot the cliffside as well as the guest caves, and provide the camp with aerial support. This is also where the dragonets learn to fly, under the watchful care of their guardians, of course.
On the ground are the tents and huts arranged in a loose ring around a large fire pit at which everyone in the clan gathers nightly to sing songs and give offerings to the Alchemist, their patron god.
The members of this clan are always at first welcoming to any stray travellers who are drawn towards the firelight, and will greet them with smiles and whatever was for dinner that night. If they ask for refuge, the leaders of the Aviastra Clan, Sheik, Ithura, and Lique, widely known as the Triumvirate, will make room. But they are always wary, too. Show any suspicious activity, know that even the Pacifists and Healers carry at least one weapon at all times.
The Aviastra Clan, unlike many others, have not lost their traditions and practices because of the warring and ruthless battle, despite being surrounded by enemies of Dragonkind, the Centaur, Longneck, and Talonok Beastclans. Ithura and Sheik never purposely engage with any of the Beastclans that are fighting to keep their territory in the Strand and the Reaches. However, if prompted, they are not scared to fight and defend themselves.
The Aviastrans have actually taken apprentices from the Talonok, Centaur, and Serthis Beastclans in their area as a show of peace and friendship. In return, these Beastclans have granted them immunity against any attacks or raids that they are planning, as well as securing a steady trade flow with them.
