Clan Information
-Nardala (Subject to change)-
A world full of unique animals and hearty humans. The flora and fauna are wild and do not appreciate the human's efforts to encroach on their territory. Every inch of livable land is fought for tooth and nail, and everything outside of the human's territory is dangerous and unexplored. The human's saving grace, however, is their unique ability to bond with one of the world's most powerful creatures, the dragon. With dragons help, humans are able to stabilize their land and slowly, ever so slowly, expand.

The home of a great many dragons. The Hearth itself develops it's own governance and as such governs the surrounding towns and villages. Each Hearth is the authority of the area, handling disturbances and protecting the populace. There are four Hearths in the world.

*Cliff Side - A Hearth located in the side of a steep, vertical cliff surrounded by gentle hills on it's face and a dangerous, thick forest on the other side.

*Ember's Home - A Hearth located in the walls of a vast dormant volcano surrounded by tough shrub land and tangled woods. Also known simply as Home.

*Heart's Growth - A Hearth located in the boughs of giant trees in the middle of a gigantic, peaceful forest.

*New Winds - A nomadic Hearth that lives on the edge of a vast desert, forever moving to follow a great sandstorm in the distance.

Home to a small gathering of dragons. Nests do not have authority over surrounding land, with the exception of nests located far away from the Hearths. Most nests are located within established villages or towns.

A home to a single dragon. Private quarters to the dragon and rider.

Seemingly magical animals that populate the world. There are nine types of dragon with five subtypes.

- Types -
*Western - A four legged, winged dragon. Proportions vary from squat and thick to tall and thin. Most commonly seen in the western plains and mountains of Cliff Side.

*Eastern - A four legged, long dragon. Bodies like snakes, these dragons fly through the air with an unexplained power. Most commonly seen in the eastern caves of Ember's Home.

*Drake - A four legged dragon. Proportions vary but tend to the squat and thick side of the spectrum. Most commonly seen in the plains between Cliff Side and Ember's Home.

*Wyvern - A two legged, winged dragon. They vary between bird/raptor like, bat like, and anything in between. Most commonly seen in the forests of Heart's Growth.

*Amphiptere - A winged, long dragon. Their lengths and girths vary. Most commonly seen in the eastern forests of Heart's Growth.

*Lindworm - Two legs, long dragon. Their lengths and girths vary. Most commonly seen in the dry rocky scrub land in between Ember's Home and New Winds.

*Wyrm - No legs, no wings, long dragon. Although they resemble snakes, they are set apart by their size and intelligence. Most commonly seen in the deserts of New Winds.

*Hydra - Up to four legs, multiple heads. A very rare type of dragon. Most commonly seen in the western sea.

*Unique - Any dragon that does not fit in the other eight types. This includes multiple legs and/or multiple wings.

- Subtypes -
*Scaled - Dragons that are covered in scales, either small and smooth or large and rough. Most commonly seen in the east.

*Hide - Dragons that are covered in skin/hide, either smooth and soft to thick and rough. Most commonly seen in the south.

*Fur - Dragons that are covered in fur, either short and smooth to long and rough. Most commonly seen in the north.

*Feathered - Dragons that are covered in feathers, either short and fluffy to long and sleek. The rarest subtype of dragon. Most commonly seen in the central forests.

*Mixed - Dragons that have two or more of the four subtypes, such as fur and feathers or scales and fur.

Before a dragon hatches, they are able to form a psychic bond with a human. These humans are called riders and will grow with their dragon for the rest of their lives. Though dragons cannot talk, they are able to communicate through feelings and limited pictures with their riders. Riders are tasked with varying jobs: security, exploration, patrols, education, transport, utility, and so on.
