I am currently a growing, active clan who joined FR one year ago.

So, here's some lore if you want something to read.

It all started when Snowdrop, a clan-born Fae, was cast out of her clan in the Starfall Isles, scorned by her clanmates. Dejected, she flew for days, floating on the wind, until she saw the reed-filled flats and playful streams of the Windswept Plateau.
Snowdrop's previous clan had resided in the Hoverview Vale, an array of floating islands that had risen high into the sky. Looking down on the world, she had rarely caught glimpses of the Cloudsong, twisting free above the Windswept Plateau. Upon seeing this, she had often felt a sharp longing to be free of the path her clan had set out for her, to simply leap off her clan's ancestral home to be caught and lifted up by the wind. Yet she was always reminded of her duties to the clan, of the role she would have to take on.
Snowdrop wondered what life on the Plateau would be, playing and laughing in the sky, lifted up and freed by the breeze, where the wind was the life and energy of the dragons. Now, she had the chance to experience it.
Floating down, she touched down upon the grassy cliff, feeling the wind stream through her wings. She couldn't help but gasp at the scenery in front of her, the land and sky alive and real, instead of the dreamy distance she was used to. Reeds dotted the edge of the cliff, swaying in tune to the breeze. Softly bubbling streams flowed down between the cliffs, shimmering like countless stars. A soft tinkling floated down to her amidst the howling of the wind, and she looked up to see the Cloudsong pass above, its shadow resembling the Windsinger himself.
But that was not what caught her attention.
Another Fae - a male - was dancing in the wind, his stunning red wings flashing as he spiraled and leaped. His movements seemed to flow with the wind currents themselves, twisting and fluttering in tune to the gale's song.
Curious, Snowdrop edged closer, until she saw the reddish, leafy garments on his neck and shoulders. This Fae was a Fae of the rare elven tribes, tribes where the dragons were the most adept in their element.
Snowdrop jumped back, startled, as the elven Fae suddenly twisted down toward her. Landing lightly, without disturbing a single blade of grass, he cocked his head and asked where she came from. Snowdrop was taken aback until she remembered the traditions of the elven tribes, where the regional difference between the dragons was apparent in the customs and hierarchies. Snowdrop replied that she was from the Starfall Isles, the Arcane region. The elven Fae eyed her curiously, before asking if he could accompany her on a tour around the Windswept Plateau. Without thinking, Snowdrop agreed and followed him into the wind.
Floating on the breeze, the elven Fae introduced himself, preferring to be called Autumn despite his elven roots. Snowdrop was immediately taken to him, following him into the land of the swaying reeds, the song of the wind, the tinkling streams.
Despite it all, aching homesickness came over her, and flashes of memories fell back to her. Snowdrop remembered the shimmering grass, the flowers on the trees twinkling like stars at night, mimicking the dreamlike forest of the Starwood Strand and illuminating the grove of her clan with an ethereal light. She remembered the dances under the moon, the sacred rituals that would've sent her on her destined path to the Oculus of the Eleven. But she shook her head, pushing the memories away. That time had passed; now, she felt a new time beginning. And she felt certain that her new path would intertwine with his, the elven Fae who had spurred her endless dance with the wind.

My clan has a hierarchy system called Dominance, with Alphas being the most Dominant and the hatchlings having no Dominance. Dominance is how much authority or power a dragon has within the clan.
Those who are Dominated by a higher rank must obey the Dominant dragon, and are usually compelled to do so.
Those who are Dominant to a lower rank have more authority, and orders are more compelling to those Dominated.

The Founders, Snowdrop and Autumn, are among the Alphas, though they rank higher than any other dragon in the clan, and bear the Standard of the Windsinger.
