Huàshù, chinese for birch tree. 'Birch' is derived from Sanskrit 'bher', meaning shining white. It is referred to as a pioneer tree in some regions, since its one of the first trees that grows quickly in the woodlands, even after natural disasters. It is one of the most sacred trees for the Celts, symbolising new beginnings, rebirth and hope. The clan was struck by a calamitic war that nearly wiped out its entirety over the course of a few hundred years. However, they were able to rise from the debris left by their pasts, and they renamed themselves to match this milestone in their lives. And so, the clan as it stands today was hence created, and currently is home to dragons and souls alike, as is to be expected of a clan making their lair in the midst of the Cairnstone Rest. | . |
