A rocky crag juts out of a cliff in the Shattered Plains, a lifeless place where the strong survive and the weak are detached from the Lair of the Crimson Lineage. Many generations of broken bones and shattered horns made up the ground of the Crimson Clan where battles raged and dispersed. But the long line of soldiers defended with their lives till the point it was in their genes to fight.
Crimson - the first of the Crimson Family Line and the Drinker of Immortal Blood that makes him live forever - has since retired from his Warrior role and settled in the highest fractured cave on the crag. Some people whisper conspiracies against him, but are hushed and drowned out by the voices of victorious battles of the new Warrior - Wispwarden.
The Crimson Clan considers themself strong and intellectual by flooding out all the creativity and inspiration. They believe no one could survive that way. Dragons who disobey this rule, by stuff like drawing a square in the sand with a stone - Dragons called the Unwanteds - are sold off for weapons and silver, the main currency used inside the clan. Some Unwanteds escape and make their way back inside the Crimson Clan with a friend or close family that will help them, others wander the desert until they die, and the majority stay with the tribes they are sold to. But they all end up different.
This evil clan may suffer loss of family and other dragons, but they are stong. They also may lack in creativity and inspiration but they make up for it in cunning and loyalty.
