The Water flight lost its god mysteriously one day. Although the flight has not lost its magic, meaning that their god is not truly gone, in the eyes of bygone powers the Tidelord has stepped down from his position as the God of Water. Therefore, drastic measures had to be taken.

In the absence of the great Tidelord, two creatures descended to the world of Sornieth disguised as dragons: an Imperial of Shadow, dressed in red magic, and a Nocturne of Light, dressed in blue magic. These two creatures traveled the world, collecting trustworthy allies as they regained their true power.

When the two creatures reunited with their other half, they established a domain in the Fishspine Reef, one to protect the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Underground, those who live in darkness. Above, a bustling town for those who live in light. A weeping willow tree guards both in the middle of the town.
