Heck, we can even use "plant genetics" to create all new types of vegetation!

You could even do flowers were like, they represent a dragon colorwise maybe?
eg; a daisy that has 3 tones representing the dragon's colors, or 3 colors in 2 forms + add-ons for tert genes ?
