TOPIC | What program do you use to draw?
So, I've been wanting to get into the digital art business and wanted to know what programs are the best for drawing. I've had little experience with any digital program besides Photoshop but I only use that for cropping and coloring for photography.

Any suggestions?

I use Photoshop CS5 pretty much for everything. PS is probably the most versatile and widely used for professional purposes, but I think some people find that it has a bit of a steep learning curve.

A cheaper alternative to Photoshop is Corel Painter, which is the first thing I've ever used. It's not bad.

SAI painter is a popular alternative as well, it's terrific at blending and being painterly but I think that power is too easily abused ^o^;; otherwise it's rather lovely!

Good luck!!

*edit: I can't spell photoshop apparently. I'm half asleep.
