Now I know this is probably a long shot trying to go for this but hey I'll never know if I don't try so, here I am! I've got 4900 gems (and like, 1 million in treasure) and I'm hoping to find an outfit designer who might be willing to help me out!

I should preface this that the outfit I'm looking for itself is to be used in D&D - or at the very least a D&D-like setting.

Alright so I should probably get into the meat of my request. The character I'm looking for this outfit for is my darling Percy, available to see here (and I can provide non-watermarked versions of his art if you need.)

I'm not looking for a complete overhaul of his outfit since I believe the majority of his outfit could be carried over and still fit fine. In reality it's more outfit adjustments and tweaks I'm looking for in this case rather than an entirely new design. (Or it can be like a reinterpretation I don't mind at all!)

The obvious addition I do need made to the design is the addition of some kind of shirt or armor to cover up his torso, preferably something light looking or something that would fit in well with the rest of his outfit but I'm not the best when it comes to actually thinking of design elements so this is based off discretion really.

I should probably mention class plans if it affects anything at all in terms of potentially designing or adding elements like accessories. I'm planning for him to be a Fighter leading into the Gunslinger archetype so he'd be ranged, preferably wouldn't be wearing anything too heavy looking if that makes at all. He'd also potentially need elements like holsters added considering the archetype.

I know my sort of set out advice and suggestion in here aren't great but I'd be more than happy to work and talk more about idea cause this is honestly something I'd love to have available and would love any help I can get. I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to D&D designs, if it isn't obvious already.

But uh, yeah. I don't mind if it's digital or traditional I'll happily look at either style so uh if you'd be willing to work with me just drop your link or examples and prices and hopefully we can work out a deal.

Generally cost depends on what's wanted, the detailing in the end result, etc etc... Price typically begins at 1800-2000g for a brand new design, but I'd be willing to do a discount since I've got a bit more to work with.

Your art is fantastic! I'd be more than happy to happy to commission you and even provide the full gem amount honestly because the detailing and quality you have is brilliant!

How do you you prefer to handle payment and such? Would you like the full amount up front of half before or half after completion? I'm more than happy work with you howevers best for you.

My most common method is half/half. With this sort of commission, it’s treated as a lineart full body, so you’ll be receiving something like this, but with some other parts and diagrams on the side to explain the design.
If I had to make an ETA on a fresh outfit design with DnD elements, I’m going to guess 3kg~?

I also send a LOT of WIPs for designs and ask a lot of questions, because I know people want their OC designs to be just right ^^

Half and half would work great for me! Honestly with the amount of detail you offer I'd feel bad only give you 3kg, would you be alright if I paid you 3.5kg instead just for peace of mind I don't want to underpay you or anything.

That’d be fine! You can send the one-way CR and I’ll accept it when I get started, and you should see a rough draft pretty soon. If there are extra fees I will let you know at the end, or if you’re not happy with the detail level or w/e you can always ask for more.

Before I begin, is there anything you would really like in the design? Like a long, split coat, or some sort of headwear? Is there a common scheme (I.e flowers, which would show up as decoration and embroidery) that should be included?

Feel free to just give me a basic idea and I can go on a romp o/

In terms of specifics in the design, I'm kind of a fan of the longer coat style for him like the one in his current design, so if that could somehow be like carried over or interpreted to fit that would be kinda nice. Maybe also the inclusion of goggles in some format? Considering the gunslinger archetype I think some kind of goggles would be fitting consider the tinkerer dynamic the archetype has.

Thinking of his personality though I'd think his style would be one that kind of stands out, makes him easy to spot in a crowd and such. With the sort of character he is he's a bit of an overconfident and flirty showoff who likes to pretend he has more sort of wealth to his name then he actually has and his outfit would probably help him show off a little.

The only main small like personal flair I can think for him I'd maybe like to see is for him to have a small bit of lavender somewhere perhaps?

(I was sorta discussing with someone while writing this and they sort of threw some ideas of their own if you wanna draw from these at all or if these at all like help with ideas in any way. They suggested a loose steampunk-ish inspiration, also suggested the idea of gloves perhaps?)

These notes might not be the best guideline I know which is why I'm more than happy to pay as much as I need to for this simply for the lack of direction I kinda have but I hope they'd maybe hope a little with designing? I'd be more than glad to try and grab some reference ideas maybe if I have to if you need them. I'm sorry for being so aimless here, haha ^^'

Hello, guess who's back - I drew up a rough sketch here as to how the design would generally look. Please feel free to state any additions/removals/modification requests, because changing it once lineart starts is a massive pain in the butt ;;'

I was thinking gears could be buckles/buttons to fit the theme, as well as brass buckles and things like that to help accent it. The feathery 'pin' thing is supposed to be a sprig of dried lavender. Goggles on the head because I can't draw a face decently if they're in the way :'D

The idea of gears for buckles or buttons is brilliant! It's a really smart touch and adds like a little personal touch to his outfit that could easily be described as to why considering his character!

Honestly that looks great to me I can't really see anything that I think would need removing or altering looking at that sketch. I'm sorry I have to thank you again for doing this wasn't expecting something back so soon!
