ooh, would a blushing/flustered expression work? :D like either the way you'd look at somebody you love, or looking away bashfully? just something that screams "gay thoughts" i think would be really cute! if not i can think of something else! (feel free to play around with outfits however you like btw! anything is cool, i just have a gradient for their jacket in their ref for example bc i know plaid can be hard to draw heh)
