Marrow Dust Dragons

In the end all that's left are those bleached bones.
It's the same for everyone, it's just how things are.
Marrow Dust dragons are used to the harsh life in the Abiding Boneyard.
Resources are few, and the dangers are many.
They are a practical and hardy sort with a strong sense of community in their small villages.
Besides their practicality,
they are most known for having very particular rituals
that involve the skeletal remains of their prey and of their departed companions.
Bone ash baths are a common practice among them.
To decorate and protect the bodies of the hunters,
as a tribute to a new leader, or to commemorate a battle won.
Or even to mark the arrival of a new life, as the first ashen bath after a hatchling's first meal.
Bones used on ashen baths are always of their prey though, never of other dragons.
Ashes of dragons, be they enemy or friend, are to be scattered in the wind.
The true nature of the ashen baths is only known to the Marrow Dust
Specially to the Shamans who prepare these baths
It's difficult to say if the Marrow Dust have their colors just because of the ambient they come from,
or if it's a result of generations upon generations bathing themselves in bone ash.
They also have specific rules about the keeping of bones.
To decorate yourself with the bones of your prey is acceptable, they are trophies.
To keep bones of other dragons is considered unhealthy attachment to those who are gone.
Death is a part of life, you must accept it and move on.
They are of course, very adaptable dragons
and if their practices are not well received in a new clan,
they'll keep them to a minimun and perform them as privately as possible.
Marrow Dust Dragons are most satisfied
when they're doing something that actively helps their clans.
So they'll do well as warriors, hunters, gatherers and even builders.
Their pragmatic approach to life and death also means they'll be honored in doing
what most dragons may find unpleasant: handling the dead.
So they can also work well as morticians or even grave diggers.

Bayou Blood Hexxers

The blooming rose and the rotting carcass are two parts of a whole.
It seens disingeuous to glorify one and reject the other.
Heretics. This is how the Bayou Blood are seen by some dragons.
Specially to the most fervent worshipers of the Plaguebringer
or her counterpart the Glagekeeper.
Why? Because the Bood Hexxers worship both with the same intensity.
They are firm believers that these deities
are the representations of the natural world in it's purest form.
Flowers will grow where the dead lie.
The beautiful colors of a snake foretells it's venom.
Life and Death.
Everything is one and the same and our existence is made of these dualities.
Do not fear the sickness, adapt and overcome.
Do not disregard the seed, for it's has immense potential.
As their name suggests these dragons are well versed in the ways of Blood Magic.
They can use it for healing and for harm in numerous ways.
Combat oriented dragons can transform their blood in various types of weapons.
The masters of the craft will boil or crystallyse their enemies very veins.
Highly skilled healers will be able to manipulate a patient's immunologic system.
Saving them from many types of illnesses
Or Aceleratte a dragon's natural healing factor, closing wounds quickly.
They can also use their own blood as material por curative potions and salves.
In a clan they'll fit well on either postition. Be it restoring wounds or causing then.
They usually have a very good knowledge of herbs and plants,
and besides their Plague origins will also be happy tending and maintaining a garden.
Said garden will usually be more wild than expected, but beautiful nevertheless.

Omen Bringers

"As you are now, what comes next will be this...."
Every Omen Bringer has some form of clairvoyance.
Be it a sixth sense for danger, for knowing when a dragon is lying or not,
be it in its stronger form, as complex prophetic visions.
There's a catch to their power though.
They never get any positive information from their latent abilities.
Because of that they're not usually seen as good company.
Omen Bringers are often too distant and aloof,
commonly lost in their own thoughts, and with only bad news to deliver.
They are though, even with that sort of power, not fatalists.
Bad things will happen. This is certain.
But how you deal with what is to come is what's important.
Will you overcome or succumb?
Also, they don't belive the future is set in stone and in truth,
belive that their visions, as grim as they may be,
can work as a warning to change a path that is leading to destruction.
So they always start the telling of a vision with that phrase:
"As you are now, what comes next will be this...."
And then end with:
"...and so there may still be time for change."
No one is really sure where they originated from.
Their temperament and abilities point both to fringe areas
where the Searred Wastelands meets the Starwood Strand
and to the Plague borders of the Sea of a Thousand Currents.
In a clan an Omen Bringer will fit well in the role of Librarian, Historian,
Record Keeper and even Master of the Treasury.
Their loner and contemplative nature fits well with those kind of jobs.
They are, in general, lovers of good literature.
