3000kg is equal to 3,000,000 gems. Unless the dragon is a low digit, decked out in hq art, a gem gened/special eyed/double g1, or a combination of the three, it would never be worth that much even with elim.
The average price for a regular dragon or non-gened g1 would be from 300 gems and up. Non stoned usually range 200 gems and up. Most are priced at the elim price or how much leveling costs. It all really depends on how much stones it has, how sought out the dragon is, its offspring list, and so forth. The AH is a helpful tool, too, if you need pointers.
