I've been trying to gather plants for my herbivore dragons and the count won't go up from zero when I gather plants.
It seems like this has been a recurring issue from what I've searched for, but I'm not sure how I can fix it if a player can fix it.

Any ideas?

To get your food point count to go up you need to convert the food you Gather.

Go to your Hoard and tick the boxes (you can also choose how many of each food you tick) and click "Convert" down at the bottom.

Check out this guide for a listing of items that are used for other things than feeding most of the time. Nearly all of the listed items are sold for higher than other, similar items.
