Same dragon. Different genes. There's something really wrong with Metallic Flaxen on Banescale

Adding to this,
it appears that all, or almost all Metallic Banes have nearly (?) Basic horns and spines still. Not sure if that was intentional or accidental.

Metallic/alloy on banes look like completely different genes. They're very flat and missing those lovely, dramatic gradients the same genes have on other breeds, and in some cases look closer to basic or iridescent instead. Considering these are gem genes, this screw up is unacceptable.

I feel that has only few lights, plus its shading color is changed while that doesn't apply to modern one:

I can see other users have noticed this issue and started another thread, hopefully they can find this one.
I think it is a huge shame that it has yet to be fixed.

I actually like how Metallic looks on Banescale BECAUSE it doesn't have those dark shades. It looks more realistic to me, as realistic as bright purple dragons are :P So I don't support changing it, but I seem to be in the minority so *shrug*

Banescale metallic is a little bit vivid for my eyes. It kind of hurts, even when I have the brightness down.

The color changes are super annoying. Usually I kind of like metallic and alloy, but im completely turned off on all the color expressions. It seems like a different artist/team worked on them.
Nocturne females have a similar issue with some colors, too. You may notice the highlights are not as vibrant because they are just white.
Sadly I think the flat tongue and spines are deliberate since all colors are affected by it, meaning their base does not have the area covered for shading or coloring on the spines and tongue at all.

I completely agree! It's not even worth the gems to change them. :(
