I've tried in the help but was ignored, tried to bring it up in the original post for NoTN but was ignored and getting a little salty, the chests for NoTN that I get from gathering are not appearing in my 'other's inventory, I should have 3 chests now...

Have you checked every page of your Other tab? Strange Chests are not new items and so do not show up at the back of your hoard.
