So, for some reason, there are times when I click on something that should take me to another part of Flight Rising, but instead it takes me to another website that my Norton Security blocks. It says it blocked an attack by a fake tech help website or something like that. It did this last night when I was doing something in other tabs/apps as well, and I accidently closed the tab thinking it was on a different tab than my open Flight Rising tab, and when I created a new tab to reopen Flight Rising a few minutes ago, it did it twice from the click thing. That I know of, it's only this website, and not something on my computer. If this is truly malware, I worry for the safety of players' information, especially those who use/have used real money to purchase stuff. I hope this is fixable. Anyways, I hope that makes sense. Please ping me if you have any questions. Edit: It just did it again and I got a screenshot this time. Will edit this post again with the imgur link in a minute. Edit 2: Here's the imgur link: [img]https://imgur.com/8ZGpskl[/img] Edit 3: So, it just did it again, and I realized it doesn't just do it when I click something. Sometimes, it's completely random and it does it out of the blue. Edit 4: Changed the imgur link so the image will show up here, but it didn't work.

Make sure you do a virus sweep of your own computer just in case.

Also, you're using the imgur gallery link, not an image link, which is why it's not "working."

@QueeenElsa I just wanted to say - I am super relieved to see this post on here. This has been happening to me as well. I checked my computer and all seemed well, and I realized earlier today that it is only this site that causes that to happen for me. Thank you for taking the time to address it! I will report it too.

This has been happening to me all today as well. It keeps saying the website is blocked for virus protection and my computer might be infected. The ads seem fine, its happened on different pages clicking on different links, so it's not isolated to one section of the webpage. Maybe there is a floating hidden ad? Not sure how to report that though.

When I noticed this, I checked my firewall and antivirus: no issue with my computer. And I've even checked the browser files to see whether there's an adware extension installed: none. This only happens when I click on FR links. I tried clicking on links of different websites but none force redirect me to other website for a millisecond before directing me back to a FR url) I have always had an adblock and a popup/overlay blocker active, but I toggled 'allow acceptable ads' on my adblock so ads from google still show from time to time. And then this happens: [img]https://i.imgur.com/QB3N1Gz.jpg[/img] (There are dozens more similar url's) It's hard to capture all of the redirect url's since they pop up in the url for like one millisecond before I got redirected back to a FR url. Now I just block all ads and the issue stops (but the site still runs slow, probably from all the redirect url's my adblock is attempting to block) One more thing, this DOES also happen when I'm on FR's login page. Once I clicked on the login button, instead of a flighrising dot com url, I get urls with .ru or something else. It's the main reason I start blocking all ads.

But yes, bad ads, pop-ups, and redirects have been a problem since a few months ago. It seems like whenever one group is blocked, another pops up.

Thank you everyone for responding! I have reported it in the ad report forum and it actually hasn't done it in the last few days, so I'm extremely glad about that! I hope it has been completely fixed, so that it won't annoy players anymore!
